Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders has joined French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg on a season-long loan.

The Premier League west London club disclosed this in a statement via their website on Monday morning.

Penders only joined Chelsea from Belgium club Genk this summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, in another development,
Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told the club to sign Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen.

According to Fichajes, Ronaldo believes the Denmark international would be a perfect addition to the Al-Nassar squad this new season.

The report added that Christensen is ready to leave the LaLiga champions this summer, and he is interested in making what would be a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League.

Christensen’s contract with Barcelona is due to expire. The 29-year-old joined the Catalan club from Chelsea in 2022.
