The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, says it is unfair for any Nigerian to assess President Tinubu based on regional sentiments.
The minister said this on Wednesday while fielding questions in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’.
According to him, President Tinubu’s reforms are transformational and equitable inclusive of the North.
He said that the President had always been nationalistic in his approach to national life.
“Of course, we know that Nigeria suffers many fault lines and we pray that all the measures we are taking will help us cross the port line.
“It is unfair for any Nigerian to assess President Tinubu based on regional sentiments. President Tinubu has consistently adopted a nationalist approach to governance.
“President Tinubu’s history of supporting Northern politicians is clear for everyone to see; he supported President Buhari, Yar’Adua, Atiku, and Nuhu Ribadu.
“The reforms undertaken by President Tinubu have been beneficial to all parts of Nigeria. President Tinubu is undertaking transformational projects in all parts of Nigeria,” he said.
