The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said that President Bola Tinubu cannot attend to everyone.
Wike made this statement on Tuesday while fielding questions in an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.
The minister was replying to a recent comment by a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal.
Lawal had said that he would not have coped in the current administration if he were a member of the president’s cabinet.
Reacting, Wike said that the former SGF is angry because he did not get the vice presidential slot.
“His anger is that President Tinubu did not choose him as running mate. It is very clear. We are not kids
“Everyone cannot reach out to Tinubu, he can’t attend to everyone, people should meet with ministers and advisers,” Wike said on the programme.
