Published on May 02, 2025 at 04:50 PM

The Presidency has confirmed the arrival of President BolaTinubu in Katsina State.

Tinubu on Friday departed Abuja for Katsina State, where he is meant to have a stakeholders meeting to assess the security situation in the state.

Recall that Katsina, where former President Muhammadu Buhari hails from, has in recent times been engulfed in insecurity, such that banditry and kidnapping had almost become a daily occurrence.

During the two day state visit, Tinubu is expected to commission the Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre.

He is also expected to launch a 24KM dual carriageway completed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda.

Thereafter he will honour an invitation to attend the wedding of the governor’s daughter before returning to Abuja.
