VIEWERS of today’s This Morning were left in stitches as they were convinced Joely Richardson was ‘still drunk’ during a ‘car crash’ interview.

The actress, 61, came on the show with her The Gentleman co-star Vinnie Jones to discuss the new season of the Netflix release

During the interview, Joely was noticeably animated as she giggled while answering questions from Andi Peters and Christine Lampard.

When Andi asked if she enjoyed working with Vinnie, Joely grabbed Vinnie’s arm and kept a hold of it as he spoke, before jumping in: “The best thing about Vinnie is Emma, his partner, who is right there. Who I got to know very well over season two.”

While talking, Joely hugged into Vinnie’s shoulder and pointed into the camera lens – which his girlfriend Emma Ford was standing behind.

She then blew kisses to Emma from the sofa.

The moment, along with others from the interview, had fans taking to social media to discuss Joely’s demeanor – which The Sun has reached out to Joely’s team about.

“Is Joely Richardson coming across a bit drunk on This Morning?” asked one fan.

Another echoed: “Is she still drunk from the premiere last night? 😳”

“Fair play to Joely. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere,” laughed a third.

Several others agreed, as numerous fans dubbed the interview “car crash TV”.

Joely and Vinnie joined stars such as Maya Jama, Kaya Scodelario and Theo James last night as they walked the red carpet for The Gentleman’s series two premiere.

The cast later headed to a boozy afterparty,
