President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said he is unfazed by criticism from the opposition, declaring that despite their hatred, he remains their president.

Tinubu made the remark in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, on Wednesday, during a condolence visit following the recent killings in the state.

Addressing a gathering of stakeholders, including political leaders, traditional rulers, youth representatives, and others, the President said he is not concerned about what naysayers say about him.

“Not everyone will like you in politics, they hate me like hell too. But I’m here, I am the President,”; he said.
