A FRIEND close to the Beckham family has ‘replaced’ Brooklyn in his brothers’ lives, according to pals.

The Beckham family feud has reached a new low after Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot for a second time.

Pals have speculated that footballer Mitchell Curry has filled the void of Brooklyn.

Nicola , 30, and Brooklyn , 26, said “I do” for a second time earlier this month after keeping their distance from his famous family .

The happy couple were surrounded by Nicola’s family for the lavish ceremony, with Brooklyn’s family nowhere to be seen.

But pals have speculated that footballer Mitchell Curry has filled the void of Brooklyn.

Mitchell posed with Romeo and Cruz recently, as they all spent time on the Beckhams’ £16 million yacht

They’ve been heading out for lunches together, and joined the family for an evening out.

Romeo also referred to Mitchell as “my brotha” back in June, as they attended a tennis match in France

He’s a pal of Romeo’s as they both played for Inter Miami together, and currently  he plays for Premier Division club Whitby Town.

Mitchell previously spoke to the Northern Echo about his close friendship with Romeo, 22, saying: “We’d do everything together.

“I remember the first time I met David, the heart rate was going through the roof

“He’d come and watch training a lot but the first time I met him properly, me and Romeo met him at Chipotle and then we went back to their house, and then it just became more and more regular.

“They were so good to me when I was over there and it’s the same since I’ve come home, the full family, I can’t thank them enough.”

Even though Mitchell has left Miami, his friendship with the Beckhams has endured.

“He and Victoria live very busy lives but they’re both so genuine and to let me stay with them in their house means a lot and they are always there.”

Calling David “down to earth,” the footballer added: “He’ll just sit and have normal conversations about footy or whatever. Like you would with one of your mates.”

Meanwhile, the Beckhams were not invited to Brooklyn and Nicola’s ceremony on August 2, and only found out about the nuptials online.

None of the photos from the lavish ceremony, which was attended by most of Nicola’s family, have been liked on social media by any of the Beckham family.

There are also no comments from the Beckhams on the snaps, acknowledging the ceremony or congratulating the couple.

Brooklyn’s nan, David’s mum, usually comments on photos on social media – but this time she has not.

The couple, who first got married in April 2022 after dating for three years, said “I do” again at the start of August 2025 in a vow renewal ceremony .

In the photos shared by the couple on Instagram , they are surrounded by Nicola’s family and friends .

The ceremony was even officiated by Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz , 83.

Rumours of a rift between the couple and The Beckhams have been rife ever since Nicola and Brooklyn failed to attend his dad David’s 50th birthday party earlier this year.
