- Re:nourish Carrot and Coriander Soup
As autumn arrives, many of us crave the comforting warmth of soup.
Carrots make an excellent addition, providing both nutritional benefits and rich flavor.

Chef Select Carrot and Coriander Soup 600g, £1.59 – 4/5
I was a bit surprised that Lidl's version is priced 10p higher than Aldi's offering.
Both retailers use similar packaging, and the ingredients are almost the same, featuring 46 percent carrots, along with a touch of cream and honey.

Upon heating, it emits a delightful aroma, and the soup appears fresh.
With its golden color and thick texture, it could easily be mistaken for homemade and is bursting with flavor.
A wonderful, warming bowl.
Carrot and Coriander Soup 600g, £1.49 – 5/5
With its bright sunshine hue, strong root-vegetable fragrance, and thick texture, this soup resembles a hearty homemade broth.
It is quite thick, so it may not suit those who prefer a smoother soup.

This soup has minimal ingredients—carrots, onions, stock, and coriander—which I appreciated.
It also features a subtle herbal note.
However, it could use a bit more seasoning, particularly some pepper.
Carrot and Coriander Soup 600g, £1.85 – 2/5
This blended vegetable soup doesn’t provide much justification for its higher price, although the visible flecks of coriander are a nice touch.
With 52 percent carrots, it offers a decent root flavor but leans towards the sweeter side.

This sweetness may be due to the addition of orange juice, which I believe is unnecessary.
The strong flavor of white pepper left an unpleasant aftertaste.
Overall, it was somewhat odd to eat, and the recipe feels unbalanced.
Carrot and Coriander Soup 600g, £1.50 – 3/5
This soup is refreshing and budget-friendly, containing a variety of ingredients, including butter, turmeric, leek, and parsley.
While some ingredients enhance the flavor, others, like sugar, seem unnecessary in a broth that is already sweet.
