LONDON, Manchester, Bath, and many other cities are typically known for their festive markets.

However, did you know that a major UK supermarket also hosts its own events where you can receive a substantial goodie bag for "free," filled with luxurious treats?

is launching an impressive 165 Christmas markets across the UK to help customers embrace the festive spirit.

The pop-up events will take place throughout November and December, providing free food and drink samples for attendees.

The supermarket giant announced: “Coming to more cities and towns than ever, our free Christmas Market is heading to a store near you.”

“Join us for complimentary food and drink samples, plus festive inspiration to enhance your Christmas celebrations with family and friends.”

The markets will be open from 11 am to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

They will be held at selected Tesco Extra and Superstore locations, featuring a diverse range of well-known brands such as Costa Coffee, Chocomel, Castello, Boursin, the Daily Express reported .

Shoppers can also look forward to samples from Drambuie, Glen Moray whiskey, Harveys, ZIP, Nemiroff, Toffifee, Thatchers, Teapigs, Tassimo, Pepsi, McCain, Lurpak, Lindt, Purina, Aveeno, and more.

One thrilled visitor, Cissy Jones, recently shared her experience on TikTok after visiting the market nearby.

Excited about the fantastic festive offer, the TikToker stated in her video : “If you go to Christmas markets at Tesco, you receive a free massive goodie bag.”

The “heavy” goodie bag included Bailey’s Squirty Cream, Lindt chocolate, Chocomel, Thatchers Alcohol-free Cider, and more.

While exploring the festive market, the visitor also enjoyed additional free treats such as mince pies, Toffifee, and more chocolate.

According to Cissy (@ cissyjoness ), who visited the market in Manchester Parrs Wood, “you need to purchase two items” at the stalls to qualify for the “free” goodie bag.

“I had to buy two items for the bag! Which cost £3.50 – or just enjoy the goodies at the market!” she noted in her caption.

“How cute and fun! And how AMAZING is the bag!” Cissy was thrilled with her bargain
