A TEENAGE boy has died and three men have been injured in a horror crash, with the police appealing for dashcam footage.

The 17-year-old lad died in the collision at , , on Friday evening, June 26.

The smash involved a blue Golf and a white Polo.

It happened near a layby by Shooters Bottom car park at the beauty spot just before 9.30pm.

The youth, from , was a passenger in one of the cars and died at the scene.

Two other men in the car, a 19-year-old man from Polegate and a 21-year-old man from Hellingly, were seriously injured.

The driver of the other car, a 21-year-old man, from Eastbourne, was also seriously injured.

Detective Sergeant Ian Foxton, from the Serious Collision Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident and are thoughts are with those involved and their families.

“We are aware there were a number of people in the area at the time of the collision and we would ask anyone who hasn’t spoken to us or has any video or dashcam footage to get in touch.”
