A royal scandal is unfolding in the Swedish palace following reports that “grinning” photographs of Princess Sofia were allegedly sent to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein just six months prior to his first arrest.
This revelation has ignited public outrage, with many demanding clarification on what the palace was aware of regarding the connection between Epstein and the princess, who became part of the royal family in 2015.

The photographs, exclusively obtained by Expressen , depict the then 23-year-old aspiring princess smiling alongside her mentor Barbro Ehnbom and two other unidentified women.
The image is dated 2008, three years after the palace states that Sofia last had any contact with Epstein.
Alarmingly, this was only six months before his initial arrest and conviction for prostitution.
Entrepreneur Ehnbom, who reportedly received millions from Epstein, sent the cheerful photo of the “Swedish Girls” to Epstein for his 55th birthday, accompanied by the note: “Happy birthday from your BBB girls.”
“BBB” is believed to stand for “Barbro’s Best and Brightest,” a network designed to “recruit intelligent, young, beautiful girls” from business schools.
Leaked emails between Ehnbom and Epstein indicate that the businesswoman successfully persuaded the billionaire paedophile to invest millions into her exclusive network.
In exchange, Epstein purportedly met numerous young Swedish girls at dinners, lavish wine parties, champagne-filled gatherings, and exclusive events, as Dagens ETC reported.
Johan T. Lindwall, an expert on the Swedish royal family, publicly challenged the palace on television: “When someone marries into the royal family, they are subjected to extensive questioning by the security police as well as the court.”
“I find it hard to believe that Sofia did not mention her meetings with Epstein in New York.”
– these meetings occurred a full decade before she wed Prince Carl Philip.
“Princess Sofia met the individual in question a few times nearly 20 years ago,” an initial statement asserted.
However, in further leaked emails, Ehnbom noted in 2012 that Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip “are featured on every magazine cover” in Sweden, and remarked that it is “wonderful.”
Five years later, she reminded Epstein that the princess is part of the BBB network, which she again referred to as “your girls.”
At this time, Epstein was under investigation by the FBI and prosecutors for human trafficking and managing a global sex crime operation with over 1,000 confirmed victims.
In response to the growing concern, a new statement reiterated that the princess had not been in contact with the paedophile since 2005.
