ACTRESS Susan George fought back tears as she opened up about her heartbreaking family news.
The 75-year-old posted an emotional video on TikTok during which she told followers her mum is “very poorly” and later revealed she is “making her final journey”.

said: “We all have different difficult times in life and this, for me, is certainly one of those and I just wanted to share a little bit with you.
“You know all about my story with mum and that’s a very different story right now because she’s very, very poorly and extremely frail.”
Struggling to hold back her tears, Susan continued: “It’s something you don’t want to think about but you have to. And that’s where we’re at, so I wanted to let you know.
“There’s nothing anyone can do but support [helps]. My days are spent with her and I talk and I sing.
“But it’s difficult, and I just wanted to share it because I thought it was the right thing to do. Christmas is coming and I don’t want to be sad but I am sad.”
In another post, Susan told how her mum is “making her final journey”, causing followers to rush to send messages of support.
Susan – who starred as Margaret Walker in in the summer of 2001 – said: “When you know this time will come but your heat aches for it not to…
“God give my darling mum the strength and grace she had in life as she makes her final journey.
“Let her hear all of our laughter, feel the warmth of my arms wrapped tightly around her and know, just how much she will always be loved.”
One fan wrote: “Love to you Susan, it’s hard.”
Another said: “I have been there with my beautiful late mother, stay strong.”
And a third added: “Wishing you courage Susan to deal with this sad situation.”
Susan got her big break as an actress in the late 60s and is known for starring in films including Straw Dogs and Mandingo.
She was married to late actor Simon MacCorkindale – who starred as Dr. Harry Harper in – from 1984 until his death in 2010.
