"Strictly Star Surprises Tess Daly with Bold Future Question During Live Blackpool Show!"

A STRICTLY winner made a return to the show last night and shocked fans by asking Tess Daly a forward question about her departure from the BBC show.

It’s been a huge part of their lives, with Tess hosting Strictly for 21 years and ex-It Takes Two presenter Claudia joining her on the main show 11 years ago.

As the remaining weeks of the current season whittle away, fans have been speculating the ladies’ next career move.

But what they didn’t expect is a former Strictly legend to make a return and bluntly ask Tess about it on live TV.

In last night’s episode, four celebs, including two previous Strictly stars, joined the cast of 2025 in a fabulous group number at the Tower Ballroom.

, and and Strictly 2015 winner watched eagerly afterwards from the audience, and at one point in the show they spent time talking with Tess.

Tess was excited to reunite with everyone and couldn’t wait to see the former Strictly contestants perform later on.

But in a conversation with Jay she was left near to speechless.

In response to how he’s feeling about being back, Jay profoundly said: “You have to keep reminding yourself how lucky you are to ever even do this show, so I think we all feel really lucky to be invited back.

“And if, hypothetically, there were a Strictly All Stars, would you want to come back one more time for the road?”

At first Tess thought Jay was talking to Layton, but after realising he meant her she exclaimed, “Me? I’m not a dancer!”

The group laughed while the crowd applauded but then Tess quickly added: “It’s a lovely idea. I like it.”

Fans of the show rushed to X to chat about the moment, and speculate about the chances of getting an All Stars series in the future.

“jay mentioning strictly all stars!!! HAS TO HAPPEN!!!!! #strictly @bbcone DO IT PLZ,” penned one user.

“I would like for Jay’s ‘All Stars’ idea to become reality please #strictly,” added another.

Others in the comments remarked on how “interesting” an All Stars version of the show would be, bringing together the “best of the best”.

This wasn’t the only time Tess was left feeling flustered during last night’s episode.

Earlier on she that Ashley was going to be performing later, when it was supposed to be kept a secret until after the main show ended.

“We can’t wait to see you perform later on,” said Tess. “Thank you so much for coming. Up next…”

Tess then took a lengthy pause while looking in a fixed area on the screen, suggesting that her teleprompter had malfunctioned.

Meanwhile was notably absent from the stage, after sadly having to after sustaining a .

Sitting in the front row the star looked gutted not to be performing with her fellow dancers.

In light of her absence, there was no elimination this weekend.
