Kelechi Iheanacho has shared his excitement after scoring on his debut for Scottish Premiership champions, Celtic.

Iheanacho made a dream start to his career at Celtic Park by netting the winning goal in Brendan Rodgers’ side’s 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday.

The striker was introduced in the 70th minute for his Hoops’ bow.

The Nigerian then fired home from the spot in stoppage time to hand Celtic all three points in the game.

Iheanacho was full of excitement after the thrilling contest.

“I feel really, really good. It’s the last kick of the game, and I got to take it, so I’m really happy,” Iheanacho was quoted by the club’s official website.
