SPENCER Matthews is reportedly 'too busy' to support his wife, Vogue Williams, on I'm a Celebrity and will not be traveling to Australia with their children.

Vogue, 40, is set to be one of this year's late arrivals and is currently preparing for her entrance into the jungle.

However, 37-year-old Spencer, who was meant to be a surprise campmate in 2015 but had to leave after admitting to steroid use, is currently in the midst of completing seven full Ironman marathons across seven continents in just 21 days.

The former star is heading to South Africa for his next race, and a source informed the Daily Mail : “The timing isn’t ideal, but sometimes these things happen, and Vogue and Spencer’s schedules just don’t align.

“Of course, Spencer would love nothing more than to support Vogue in Australia and be there to greet her when she exits the jungle, but both are committed to their individual projects, and unfortunately, their schedules overlap.”

Spencer and Vogue have three children: Theodore, seven; Gigi, five; and Otto, three. The source added that the children will be staying in London.

The insider mentioned: “There’s a slight possibility Spencer could finish his triathlon challenge ahead of schedule, but it’s unlikely he would then travel to Australia.

“They will both miss their kids, who will remain in London, continue attending school, and undoubtedly support their parents from a distance by watching Vogue on TV whenever they can.”

The Sun previously reported in October that Vogue is considered one of the most glamorous signings in years.

A TV insider stated: “Vogue is a significant star on the rise, and this could be one of her biggest opportunities to date.

“She is incredibly fun and gets along with everyone, so executives believe she will resonate with viewers.

“Making the decision to join the show is tough, as it will mean spending substantial time away from her children, but she is eager to face her fears and go for it.”

Spencer has shared his thoughts on his previous experience with the show.

He told Closer: “I was removed completely against my will, which is frustrating because I would have loved to participate.

“It’s a bit of an ordeal now, and many people believe I left voluntarily, which is simply not true. I was fully taken out against my will.”
