A prominent political support group, South East Renewed Hope Agenda, SERHA, has launched its Anambra State chapter to galvanize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration ceremony on Saturday, which held in Awka, drew a large crowd of supporters and stakeholders from across the state, signaling a renewed effort to strengthen the president’s political base in the South East.

Speaking at the event, the National Coordinator of SERHA, Professor Frank Anaeto, charged members to engage in robust grassroots mobilization while operating strictly within the law.

“This association is not a political party, it is a movement, a pressure group solely dedicated to the re-election of Mr President.

“We are not backing any other candidate. SERHA is focused on continuity of the Renewed Hope Agenda. You must be open to all opinions. Listen, engage, but never forget our goal, President Tinubu’s re-election,”; Anaeto said.

Professor Anaeto also praised the leadership of the Anambra State chapter, particularly its chairman, Alphonsus Chukwukwudum Monagolu, for what he described as proactive leadership and vision.

As part of its empowerment initiative, SERHA disbursed cash grants to over 1,000 beneficiaries in the state.

A shuttle bus was also donated to the chapter to aid logistics and outreach programmes.

In his remarks, the state chairman, Monagolu, lauded President Tinubu for what he termed “unprecedented strides in youth empowerment, economic restructuring, and inclusive governance.”;

“This movement is our way of giving back. We are taking the message of hope to every ward, every community. We are confident that the South East will have a stronger voice in Tinubu’s second term.”;
