SWANSEA stars are dreaming of downing cocktails with Snoop Dogg and Luka Modric at their favourite haunt Gin & Juice.
The American rapper and the former Real Madrid superstar this summer bought stakes in the Championship club who kick off their campaign at Middlesbrough today.
And Snoop Dogg — whose hits include Gin & Juice — and Milan playmaker Modric , 39, have promised to pay visits to South Wales and are invited to tag along to the posh seaside cocktail bar that overlooks Swansea Bay.
A Swans insider told SunSport: “The players love going to Gin & Juice after a win — and Snoop Dogg and Luca are invited to join.
“It’s so uncanny we have a bar here that happens to share the same name as one of Snoop’s biggest hits. It must have been written in the stars he’d turn out to be a Swan.”
Meanwhile, the club are set to open their own pub in the city centre this autumn called The Swansea Jack — and are launching a beer in association with Snoop Dogg called “Drop It Like It’s Hops” – a play on words on his 2004 hit Drop It Like It’s Hot.
The stars’ involvement has captured the city’s imagination and the club even commissioned local artist Hasan Kamil to paint a mural of the rapper inside the stadium.
Swansea join Welsh rivals Wrexham and Birmingham in sprinkling celebrity stardust on the Championship this season.
And with bitter rivals Cardiff relegated to League One, they have four other huge matches to look forward to.
Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds’ Red Dragons travel down from North Wales on Friday December 19 with the return at the Racecourse on Saturday, March 14.

NFL legend Tom Brady’s Birmingham entertain the Swans on Saturday September 20 with the corresponding game in Wales on Saturday January 17.
And Snoop Dogg has been forgiven by the club for wearing a Cardiff shirt during a visit to the Welsh capital back in 2011.
Swans CEO Tom Gorringe laughed: “We all make mistakes in life. What is important is you learn from them. He has found the right shirt to wear now!
