How can France win the Six Nations 2026?
France will just need a bonus point victory over a dejected England side to secure their Six Nations glory for a second year in-a-row.
They come into the final day level on Scotland with 16 points, but hold a considerably better points difference that the Scots.
Their free-flowing attack has seen them with a points difference of 79 to Scotland’s 21.
Fabien Galthie’s side were beaten well by Scotland at Murrayfield last weekend, but their ability to score a bonus point meant that they have it all in their hands.
They will need a bonus point to be certain, as Scotland could secure a bonus point win over Ireland and win by a single point if France don’t score one.

How can Scotland win the Six Nations 2026?
Scotland need to beat Ireland, ideally with a bonus point, to give themselves a good chance at winning the Six Nations.
They are level with France on 16 points, but have a much inferior points difference, so all they can do is win.
Gregor Townsend’s side would draw ahead of France temporarily with a win, but Les Bleus are playing in the final game of the tournament on Saturday evening.
As a result, Scotland will have to do the unthinkable, and support England, as they look to upset France and hand the title to Scotland.

How can Ireland win the Six Nations 2026?
Ireland’s route is a bit more complicated than Scotland’s to glory in 2026.
Ireland must secure a bonus point win, taking their tally to 19 points overall from the 14 they currently have.
France can finish on a maximum of 21 points, but a normal victory over England without a bonus point would take their tally to 20 for the year.
As a result, Ireland need a bonus point win, and also have to hope that England can beat France in Paris.
