Newcastle have watched Esposito, but they are also aware that Inter’s asking price may well be out of their financial range.
For Woltermade and Wissa, their futures remain uncertain.

The 6-foot-6 Woltermade started life on Tyneside well and has nine goals to his name this season, but he has not scored in the Premier League since December.
