SIMON COWELL'S ACCIDENT
SIMON COWELL has disclosed that his recent absence from the Britain's Got Talent auditions was due to him falling down a set of steps.
He was the first to miss the initial two days of filming for the Birmingham sessions following the incident.

After receiving assistance on the panel, he returned on the third day with a graze on his forehead but did not explain how he sustained the injury, other than mentioning he had "an accident."
During the Blackpool auditions, Simon revealed the truth when a choir composed of ambulance workers took the stage.
Fellow judge remarked, “I thought they might be here in case anything went wrong with you again since you were unwell last week.”
Simon took the comments in good humor and elaborated in front of the choir and the large audience at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
He stated, “I fell down some steps and bumped my head, but I’m fine now.
“I wish you had been around a couple of weeks ago when I hit my head.
“Seriously — no one sang for me then!”
Simon certainly hasn’t had much luck over the years.
His 2017 accident led to him being stretchered out of his London home while wearing a neck brace just before he was set to begin filming the live shows for X Factor.
Then, three years later, he broke his back while testing an electric bike in the grounds of his US home, requiring extensive surgery and recovery time.
An inside source added, “Simon bumped his head when he stumbled on some steps.
“It’s the kind of thing that can happen to anyone. Thankfully, he’s completely fine now.”

GRAHAM NORTON'S EARNINGS
GRAHAM NORTON is earning such a substantial income that he won’t have any issues keeping the fine wine flowing on his chat show.
It has been revealed that his company, So Television, earned £10 million last year, primarily due to the success of his Friday night BBC One series, which A-list celebrities are eager to join.

Norton, who serves as a director of the company, paid himself £2.4 million for “presenter fees, production fees, and royalties,” according to recently released documents.
A TV insider commented, “The figures are remarkable. He’s the undisputed king of Friday night television right now.”
Last week, the BBC approved three more seasons of The Graham Norton Show, set to begin in 2026.
STEPHEN FRY'S VARIETY AWARD
STEPHEN FRY’S trophy cabinet will receive another addition this month, even if he doesn’t win Celebrity Traitors.
He is set to be honored at this Sunday’s Variety Club Showbusiness Awards in central London.

He will receive the award for Outstanding Contribution to Theatre and Film at the ceremony held at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square.
Other honorees include individuals recognized for their contributions to television, Olly Murs for his musical achievements, and Vernon Kay for his work in radio.
This year’s ceremony will also introduce the Variety Club Gold Heart Legacy Awards, established to commemorate the new patronage of King Charles.
