, is joined by her son Mark, 40, who has been a pro dancer on DWTS on and off since it began in 2007, and has won the show three times.

But turning to her son, Shirley glared at him and replied sternly: “Can I finish my note please?”
When Mark agreed, she continued pointedly: “Thank you Mark, we’re not at home now, we’re in a professional arena.”
As she gave her son a dressing down, the wannabe pros backstage raised their eyebrows in surprise, as did the couple being critiqued in front of the judges.
Shirley then turned back to the couple and continued her critique, while Mark put his index fingers to his mouth to disguise his smile.
While Mark seemed amused by the awkward moment, some viewers were not, with one writing alongside the clip on TikTok: “I don’t like how she tried to publicly embarrass her son like that.”
Another replied saying: “Agreed, as if his opinion didn’t matter. I normally like her, not last night.”
A third added: “her behavior the entire episode was so off this week.”
But a fourth defended her, saying: “or she’s simply putting someone in their place for rudely interrupting and carrying on her point? allow it he was in the wrong and she made it clear.”
