Since 2016, the team had worn a crest depicting an owl surrounded by blue lettering with the Latin phrase: “Consilio et animis”, which translates to: “By wisdom and courage”.
Currently, Wednesday's profile displays the crest they used from 1970 until 1984.
This design simply shows an owl, signaling a possible return to the club's origins.
