The Colombian superstar who performed on the festival’s Pyramid Stage in 2010, said: “It’s such an iconic place to perform. I’d love to go back to and perform at Glastonbury.
“That would be like the cherry on top for this amazing year I’ve been having.”

Asked about the highs and lows in her life, she said: “The darkest moment is when I saw the dissolution of my family — the family I had dreamt to keep forever. That was one of the darkest moments in my life.

Now, Shakira is back in a big way, and on Friday with Burna Boy ahead of her performance at the final’s inaugural half-time show in July.
On her current wave of success, she added: “I’ve been doing this professionally for 30 years and I still feel like I’m just starting. It’s very strange.
“I’m as passionate as ever and as in love with my career as ever. I’m enjoying it perhaps more than ever in the past. I do feel like I’m at the peak of my career right now.”
