Serie A: Atalanta coach, Juric keen to keep Lookman

Published on June 10, 2025 at 09:19 AM

Newly appointed Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric is determined to keep Ademola Lookman at the club.

Lookman has been linked with a move away from the Bergamo club with a number of teams including Napoli, Juventus and Arsenal reportedly interested in his services.

Juric has however expressed his desire to see the winger stay with the former UEFA Europa League champions.
“The idea would be to keep both Lookman and Ederson, even if the club has clear ideas on the market and I have not made any request on players, not even on those I have had,”; the former Southampton coach was quoted by Calcio Napoli.

The Nigeria international was in good form for Atalanta last season, registering 22 goals , and five assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.

The 27-year-old has one-year left on his contract with La Dea.
