SERBIA's head coach Dragan Stojkovic dramatically RESIGNED from his position just moments after the loss to Albania.
Former Watford player Rey Manaj scored late in the first half, securing the only goal of the qualifier at Dubocica Stadium.

This result marked back-to-back defeats for Serbia, who were previously defeated 5-0 in September.
Serbia currently sits in third place in Group K with seven points, trailing their rivals by four points.
The loss to Albania was particularly painful given the intense rivalry between the two nations.
This animosity is deeply rooted in historical and political conflicts, especially regarding Kosovo, which declared independence in 2008.
While Albania recognized Kosovo's independence, Serbia did not, leading to heightened tensions and conflicts often spilling into sports.
This was evident in a 2014 match between the two teams that was halted after a drone displaying an Albanian flag caused a brawl among players.
Stojkovic, 60, disclosed that he had already discussed his resignation with the president and general secretary before entering the post-match press conference.
He expressed that he had anticipated a victory against Albania to enhance their World Cup qualifying chances for the upcoming summer.
He stated: “I spoke with the president and general secretary and I offered my resignation.
“I personally did not foresee this defeat.
“I am someone who accepts full responsibility and is entirely accountable.”
Stojkovic’s departure comes just days before Serbia is scheduled to compete against Andorra at the Estadi de la FAF in their next qualifier on Friday.
The Serbian Football Association has confirmed that youth coach Zoran Mirković will take over as the team's head coach.
He will be assisted by coaching staff members Strahinja Pandurovic, Lazar Tomic, Aleksandar Kirovski, Dejan Odavic, and Bogdan Milićevic.

A statement read: “The Football Association of Serbia would like to take this opportunity to express its gratitude to Dragan Stojkovic for everything he has accomplished over the past four and a half years leading the national team.
“This includes successfully qualifying for the World and European Championships, winning first place in Division B of the League of Nations, and maintaining our status in the elite ranks of European football.”
Stojkovic took the reins of the Serbia team in 2021 and managed a total of 55 games.
He successfully guided the team to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the upcoming tournament in 2024.
