SCARLETT Thomas has has hit back against trolls who feel she’s dressing “inappropriately” and acting too grown up for her age.
The daughter of soap couple and , is due to turn 18 this year, but she’s been facing a lot of backlash online for seeming “too grown up”.

Many of her followers on social media seem to believe she’s younger tha she actually is, and as a result claim Scarlett is dressing “inappropriately” for her age and growing up too fast.
To help clear things up Scarlett joined on his podcast At Home With The Thomas Bro’s to share her frustrations about what people are saying.
“It’s a weird thing,” she begins. “People say you can pass for like 21 and like 12 at the same time.
“I’m 17. And I don’t know. I think my fan base is a little bit weird.
“People think I’m a lot younger than I am and I don’t think many people are ready that I’m growing up. It’s a bit weird.”
When directly asked if it frustrates her, Scarlett’s facial expression says everything as she rolls her eyes.
“It’s so frustrating. But a lot of like my age, which is still the same kind of topic, don’t get the same kind of comments as I do.
“Like “why are you growing up so fast?”
“People have watched me grow up from birth so maybe that’s another bit of a thing they have.
“But it can be a bit frustrating because, you know, I want to be taken seriously. I’m not a child.”
She says she “can’t wait” to turn 18 and just be treated like everybody else.
Since announcing that she didn’t take GCSE’s with others her age, Scarlett has managed to with Big Family Music, the label who manage John Ryan – the songwriter on and Short ‘N’ Sweet, while following her true .
Describing the moment as “life-changing”, Scarlett shared a picture of herself signing the papers to and penned a heartfelt caption.
“Wow what an experience I have had so far and what an experience I’m about to have, I am beyond grateful for this amazing opportunity.
“Today was a life changing moment for me, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes but I can now finally share it with you all.
“I can’t wait for what this year brings, hopefully some amazing music xxx”.
