RUTH Langsford has opened up about her return to This Morning after splitting from her husband Eamonn Holmes in 2024.

Today, Ruth returned to the This Morning studio for an interview with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard – appearing on the other side of the sofa this time around.

While discussing the book, Ben notes that Ruth addresses her heartbreak, to which she gave an emotional reply.
Looking around, Ruth said: “Here I am, in the studio where Eamonn and I worked together for many, many years and were very happy.
“Not everything lasts forever.”
She added: “The hardest thing is having everything play out in the public domain, and that just goes with the territory. It goes with the job, I accept that.”
“I don’t discuss our divorce. What I discuss is picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and starting again.”
Ruth and Eamonn began dating back in 1996 and married in 2010.
They co-hosted This Morning on Fridays and during main presenter’s holidays from 2006 until 2021, becoming a staple on daytime TV.
