BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues to make history on the Billboard Hot 100!
On May 20 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “”;; was now spending its 30th consecutive week on the Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States) at No. 22.
Rosé is now the first female K-pop artist ever to chart a song for 30 weeks on the Hot 100—and only the fourth overall, including male artists. Aside from “APT.”;;, the only other songs by K-pop acts to spend 30 weeks on the Hot 100 to date are PSY’s “,”;; BTS’s “,”;; and BTS’s Jimin’s “Who.”;;
Meanwhile, Rosé rose to No. 58 on Billboard’s Artist 100 in her 31st overall week on the chart, extending her own record as the longest-charting female K-pop soloist in history.
Rosé’s solo album “”;; also extended its record on the Billboard 200 as the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist, spending a 23rd week on the chart at No. 157.
Outside of the Hot 100, “APT.”;; maintained its position at No. 3 on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart, in addition to ranking No. 17 on the Digital Song Sales chart and No. 26 on the Streaming Songs chart.
Additionally, “APT.”;; stayed strong at No. 23 on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart (formerly Hot 100 Airplay), which ranks each week’s most popular songs by airplay on U.S. radio stations across all musical genres.
