ROLF Harris’ monster mansion has had the price slashed by £2million after the rotting home failed to find a buyer for 12months.

The riverside property in Bray, Berkshire, has now been put up for auction with a reserve cost of £1.95million – a major knock down from its original price tag of £4million.

The mansion will now go up for auction at the end of the month – with bids starting at £1.5million.

The RightMove listing says the auction will take place on March 26.

It is described as having four bedrooms – including a large master, numerous balconies overlooking the river and 6440sqft of space.

Rolf’s former house also has an annex and a boat house.

However, the listing also notes the house would “benefit from modernisation” and the site has “scope for redevelopment”.

A local resident, who did not wish to be named, told The Sun the original price was “cuckoo” as “the sins happened in that house – it needs knocking down”.

Estate agent Brian Warren of Warren Property Matters had warned the initial £4million asking price was too high due to the “stigma attached”.

He told The Sun last week he estimated it needed up to £2million in to make it liveable.

Mr Warren said “no-one” will pay up to £6million, including the former asking price.

He added today that £1.95million was ‘”the right price all along”.

Mr Warren continued: “At auction, if it sells for £2million that’s the right price as it needs knocking down and a new house put in it’s place.

“With an added building cost of £1million, it will be in line with areas value.

“It’s a lovely plot in a great location on the banks of the river Thames.”
