"Twisted Manipulation of Child Rape Gang Investigations: An Unthinkable Evil"

THERE has been no greater criminal scandal in the past 50 years than the mass rape and sexual abuse of young white girls at the hands of middle-aged largely Muslim men.

More than a thousand kids, mainly from under-privileged backgrounds, suffered at the hands of these vile human beings. The authorities turned a blind eye. They said the ­accusations, when they were made, were racist.

The , social services, the local politicians, the ­national politicians — and, yes, the media — all looked the other way.

Never was the evil of ­political correctness more evident.

The vulnerable were ignored because nobody wanted to be called racist. And there were worries it would upset the ­sensitivities of the Muslim ­community.

And we couldn’t have that, could we?

Now into what happened and who was to blame for not stopping it.

Some of the victims were to get a chance to explain what happened. And guess what?

Exactly the same thing is happening again.

Labour Minister for “Safeguarding” is overseeing this inquiry.

Don’t forget, the Government didn’t want one. Phillips didn’t want one. The PM didn’t want one. The new Deputy leader accused people who demanded one of “dog whistling” — racist, again!

The witless later apologised when she saw the tide had turned.

But such was the public and political outcry that Starmer was forced into since becoming PM.

And behind the scenes, the Government has been doing whatever it can to ­scupper the point of the inquiry.

It has broadened the definition so that women who were sexually abused but NOT by those Asian were included.

Not the same thing at all, is it? This inquiry was meant to be specific. But Phillips and Labour are still scared stiff that it might annoy the Muslim community here.

And Labour also depends upon Muslim votes in at least 40 seats, perhaps more.

But that’s not the only reason Starmer and Phillips want the thing hushed up. It’s because what happened reveals the lie about multiculturalism.

Labour believes in multi- culturalism. It is perhaps its ­fondest belief. Lots of people from different cultures living alongside each other and ­getting on terrifically well.

Probably inviting each other over for a bowl of hummus and some alcohol-free lager. Anyone who thinks we might be storing up problems for ourselves? Racist!

The inquiry lies in ruins, and it’s the Government’s fault. More specifically, Jess Phillips’s fault.

One by one the rape gang victims are resigning from the inquiry and demanding Phillips be booted out.

One of them, Ellie-Ann Reynolds from Barrow-in-Furness, said: “I cannot take part in a process that manipulates ­survivors, censors our ­voices and tries to dilute the reality of what happened.”

Three more of them — Fiona Goddard, Elizabeth Harper and a woman known only as “Jess” — made similar accusations.

Political interference in the process. A watering down. A dilution of what this inquiry was supposed to be all about.

All of them want the hapless Phillips to resign.

The people who should have been protecting those girls looked the other way ­PRECISELY because the crimes were being committed by ­Muslim Asians.

Elizabeth Harper, for example, said: “All of us want to see Ms Phillips replaced as head of the inquiry. We do not trust her and we do not believe she has any interest in confronting basic facts.”

And Fiona ­Goddard said: “When we were eventually brought on to the inquiry panel, many of us raised concerns about certain panel members, such as people with close affiliations to members of the Labour Government. These concerns were ignored.”

Even the ex-senior copper who has been part of the inquiry, Jim Gamble, is getting the hell out because he can’t abide the opportunist political point-scoring.

Sir has said that Jess Phillips has his full backing. Lucky ol’ Jess, huh?

But of course she does — Phillips is only doing what the Labour Party leadership want.

And that’s to ensure that nobody at any times says that this was an almost exclusively Muslim thing. They want the country to believe it was just a coincidence that the gang members were all Muslim.

Most of them from Pakistan, some of them from Bangladesh.

The victims, remember — have been let down

Labour doesn’t believe any of that matters. But of course it does matter — as the vast majority of the population understands only too well. There were cultural factors at play when those men chose their victims.

And the people who should have been protecting those girls looked the other way ­PRECISELY because the crimes were being committed by ­Muslim Asians. There is no other explanation.

Truly appalling

And we heard time and again in testimonies how local didn’t want to investigate because they thought it wouldn’t be very good for “community cohesion”.

Too right it wouldn’t. The community that was seeing its young girls preyed upon would have gone doolally. And we can’t have that, can we?

And so all the way along in the horrible farrago, the girls — the victims, remember — have been let down. Let down the first time because nobody would listen to them when they made their accusations.

Let down a second time when this government ­initially refused to have an inquiry at all.

And let down a third time by a government which wishes to gerrymander the inquiry. So that it says exactly what the Government wants.

And does not annoy the Muslim community too much. So that they will still vote for them.

It is, of course, a national disgrace. last week. But even if she does resign, Sir Keir will only replace her with someone similarly compliant. And as ­ideologically deluded.

This government, in its short lifespan, has been responsible for some truly appalling actions, which will reverberate down the years.

Handing over the Chagos Islands to China’s mate Mauritius — and PAYING them to take it off our hands.

Allowing into the country more and more illegal immigrants. Taxing small businesses through rises in employer ­National Insurance so that the economy flatlines.

But nothing beats this for sheer wickedness. The deliberate warping of an inquiry into the rape and sexual abuse of young girls.

But then, this is a government utterly without shame.

SO, an illegal immigrant who was booted out under the ­hilarious one-in, one-out scheme has come back again.

And for our increasingly demented PM, this is evidence that the scheme is working.

Just 50 people have been deported under the scheme.

The number still here?

Oh, don’t worry about that. It’s only about 37,000.

This scheme was just for show. A gesture, not a policy. Give it up, Starmer.
