LIAM LAWSON has been brutally axed from Red Bull's senior racing squad.

Red Bull have announced that Yuki Tsunoda will replace Lawson in their senior racing squad.

Lawson has been dumped by Red Bull chiefs after failing to get to grips with the RB21 during the Australian and Chinese Grand Prixs.

He crashed out of the Aussie GP and could only muster a 15th-place finish in Shanghai, displays which have ultimately led to Red Bull wielding the axe.
