He fittingly stood on the podium with in second and race-winner Max Verstappen, with his four titles.

An old clip has been doing the rounds on social media showing a baby-faced Antonelli asking for an autograph from Hamilton, who was then driving for Mercedes.

It is from the Italian Grand Prix in 2018 when Antonelli was 12-years-old and Hamilton was 33.

Hamilton can be seen looking super cool with a white Mercedes hat, black sunglasses, and his headphones in.

A tiny Antonelli, who comes up to Hamilton’s shoulder and is dressed in a black Mercedes top and has the team’s white cap on, says: “I hope that you win.”

Hamilton replies: “Thank you buddy” as he signs a book that Antonelli has handed to him.
