Gemma, who posts under @gemma_abigail_ , bought ‘s 8-Wheel Hard Shell Underseat Suitcase, which includes zip-up sections and a telescopic handle.

The hard shell case costs £25 and has the dimensions of 40cm x 30cm x 20cm, which is exactly what Ryanair’s limit is for bags under the seat.

Although she picked up the hot colour, there were also gold, blue and black versions available.

Gemma shared how she had already taken it on a trip and tested it out to see if it would be accepted.

The traveller shared how she was stopped and said it wouldn’t fit in the crate some airlines have to test sizes before the flight.

However, after removing the wheels, which are detachable, she admitted she was “smug” that it slotted right in.

Gemma said in a clip which has racked up 6,000 likes: “As I got to the gate the staff member said ‘I’m sorry you don’t have priority’ I said ‘I know, but I don’t need it’

“‘You can’t bring that bag on. It’s too big’. I rolled my sleeves up. My moment had come. “People in the queue laughed at me as I took the wheels off, but who had the last laugh?!”

Many people were impressed with the Primark suitcase , which is available to buy with their Click and Collect service.

Gemma shared the items she managed to bring on her trip, and wrote: “1 night away basically – toiletries, make up, pjs, change of clothes, a handbag for when I got to and all my tech.”

However, some people said they had managed to fit way more in, including enough for up to a week.

One wrote: “I did 6 days in Prague with a regular backpack on , you literally just need to wear a coat, get trousers with deep pockets and carry a neck pillow you’ve stuffed with extra clothes.”

Many people praised Gemma’s find, with one saying: “I would have clapped if I saw this at the airport tbh.”

Another added: “oooo the wheels are removable? Primark might be onto something with this one.”

And a third commented: “I would have twirled around sooooo smug too.”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
