Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that President Bola Tinubu’s time is up.

Amaechi said Nigerians are tired of Tinubu’s administration and its policies.

In an interview on BBC on Thursday, Amaechi said Nigerians are not satisfied with Tinubu’s style of governance.

He said: “Whether the government wants to conduct credible elections or not, one thing is certain, time is up. Nigerians are tired because no one is happy under Tinubu, not even in Rivers or across the South.

“He tries to frame it as a North-South contest, but the truth is people are suffering everywhere.”

He also accused Tinubu of lopsided appointments.

Amaechi alleged that Yorubas are also complaining about Tinubu’s appointments.

“Even among the Yoruba, many feel excluded. He only rewards a few individuals close to him, while the majority remain neglected,” Amaechi said.

Since the emergence of the opposition coalition, the chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has been critical of Tinubu’s administration.

Earlier, Amaechi vowed to clinch the ADC presidential ticket and face Tinubu in 2027.
