HOMETOWN hero Josh Rock hit a stunning nine-darter on night four of Premier League Darts – moments before losing to Gian van Veen.
While trailing 5-1 in the fourth quarter-final, stunned the Belfast crowd by hitting the perfect leg.

After nailing the double 12 to finish, the 24-year-old ran off to the side of the stage to celebrate.
Visibly emotional, he then walked over to collect his darts before kissing the board.
took a moment to applaud his opponent before offering a handshake to congratulate him.
Rock – who is from Northern Ireland – went on to and the match.
But he was in good spirits after the match as he received a set of solid gold darts for the achievement.
Speaking to BetMGM at the SSE Arena, Rock said: “Double 12 hasn’t been good to me for the last six months but when the treble 20 and then treble 19 went in I was like ‘just please go in!’
“And when it did I couldn’t hold in the celebration in front of my home crowd.
“Words can’t even describe the way that I feel at the moment.

“I don’t really know what to say, to get a set of gold darts after hitting a nine-darter in Belfast is very special.
“They’ll be in my trophy cabinet forever.”
Fans were thrilled to see Rock hit a perfect leg on home soil, with one person taking to social media to write: “He may not have won the game but I very much doubt Josh Rock will care.
“A 9 darter on his Premier League debut in front of a sell out home crowd, he will remember this night for the rest of his life. Darts is incredible!”
Another said: “Absolute quality moment for him. You could see how much it meant.”
A third commented: “What a moment. A 9 Darter infront of your home crowd with your family & friends watching, unbelievable scenes.
“Well done Josh Rock, something very special about a local lad creating magic in his own backyard.”
Meanwhile, the commentator described the feat as a “magical Premier League moment” as the hometown hero took in the atmosphere.
