The Lagos State Police Command has issued a wanted notice for activist Omoyele Sowore, who is accused of planning to incite public disorder and obstruct major roads within the state.
Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olohundare Jimoh, shared this information with journalists on Monday at the Iyana-Oworo area of the Third Mainland Bridge.
He stated that the Command is closing in on Sowore and others who are alleged to be organizing activities aimed at disrupting public peace.
“Sowore must report to the nearest police station or risk arrest wherever he may be found,” he said.
“Anyone who attempts to create disturbances or block our roads will face the full force of the law,” he added.
According to the Lagos police chief, intelligence reports suggest that Sowore and his associates plan to conduct demonstrations at key locations, including the Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki Tollgate, and Freedom Park.
