AN ELDERLY man has died after a horror crash with a car while riding his mobility scooter.
Police said an 85-year-old man died in hospital after reports of a crash between a white Toyota and a mobility scooter in Doncaster last week.
The pensioner was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later sadly died.
Police rushed to the scene of the collision on Friday March 13 after reports the car had hit an elderly man on a mobility scooter.
The horrific incident occurred around1.50pm on North Bridge Road in Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police have urged any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage of the tragic crash to come forward.
