The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the intrusion of expelled members into the National Secretariat of the party.

A statement from the BoT Chairman, Adolphus Wabara, released on Wednesday, indicated that the invasion by these expelled individuals emphasizes the election of new party leadership at the Ibadan National Convention.

He expressed that the BoT applauds the bravery and determination of the Governors, the National Working Committee (NWC), and other party leaders, as well as the numerous members and supporters, for standing firm against the intruders.

Wabara further stated that the Board fully supports the new NWC and endorses the results of the Elective National Convention that took place in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15th and 16th, 2025.

The former Senate President emphasized that the Convention was convened in strict accordance with the Party’s Constitution, guidelines, the Electoral Act, and all applicable regulations, representing the collective will of delegates and stakeholders of the PDP nationwide.

Seyi Makinde, and other party leaders from accessing the complex.
