It is understood that he was denied boarding for being intoxicated which triggered the chaotic scenes.

The shocking confrontation saw the flight from Manchester to delayed from taking off.

The man, who was not yet identified and wore a grey jacket, shouted abuse at Easyjet employees including homophobic slurs.

“You’re a ripoff artist, you’re a f***** – I’ll knock your f***ing hat off”;, the man threatened as a flight attendant was seen trying to calm him down.

The irate man threatened another attendant with a “f***ing scrap”; after being denied entry.

The attendant calmly asks him: “Can you stay here for a few minutes, sir?”;

But this appears to rattle the man even more, as he responds: “You f***ing little k***head, I’ve paid for the flight.”;

The angry passenger then bemoans how he has paid “three, four hundred quid”; for the flight only to not be barred.

The video then cuts to a further confrontation with airport staff as the man gets more and more aggressive.

It is then that an airport worker in a hi-vis vest swings at his face with what appears to be a slap.

The man in the cap looked stunned as his bravado faded for a few moments.

He loudly exclaimed how he had been hit and called the staff worker a “k***head and “f*****”;.

Airport staff were then seen ushering the man in the hi-vis away as they held back the angry passenger from retaliating.

He was heard saying: “What the f***, what are you going to do to me for getting on the flight, you’re going to hit me.

“You just f***ing have.”;

The clip then cuts to a moment later, when the furious holidaymaker turns his attention to the other passengers on the bridge who have still not been let on the flight.

The enraged man turned his fury on another person, saying: “Who are you f***ing staring at it you f***ing little prick.

“Keep staring at me. Who are you staying shush to?”;

Staff then try to calm down the situation as he continues to have a go at multiple people off camera.

He repeatedly lunges towards someone who isn’t being shown in the recording in an aggressive manner.

It is unclear if he actually swings any punches at them or was trying to knock anything out of their hands.

But he continued to hurl abuse and shout derogatory insults during his rant.

It is unclear exactly when the incident occurred but it is understood to have taken place last year.

The Sun have contacted EasyJet and Manchester Airport for comment.
