Knives Out 2 cast: Who is in the new Netflix movie?

If you enjoyed the film Knives Out, you most likely have heard the news that Netflix is producing a second film, and a third will follow. But have you seen all the new additions to the Knives Out 2 cast? Color me impressed!

In March, it was reported that Netflix was in negotiations to acquire the next two installments of the film. The streamer shelled out an astronomical $465 million to buy Knives Out 2 and 3. They will not only be a huge addition to the overall Netflix catalog, but a major get for the massive list of Netflix Originals.

The original film was an amazing Agatha Christie-esque whodunit that grossed $311 million worldwide. The story took many twists and turns to keep the viewer guessing as to what actually went on around the death of Harlan Thrombey. The second installment will see the return of Daniel Craig’s sleuth Benoit Blanc, but will have a different mystery to solve with an entirely new cast.

Knives Out 2 adds a great lineup of additional cast members

This week there were many announcements of new Knives Out 2 cast members joining Craig. Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monae and Kathryn Hahn have all signed on to star in the sequel. There are no details about the characters they will play, but this lineup is starting to look as great as the first film.

Knives Out had an all-star cast that consisted of Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell and Christopher Plummer. It was an amazing ensemble of talent that had the right chemistry to concoct the perfect whodunit.

Deadline has reported that production on the follow-up is scheduled to start this summer in Greece. That will mean it will be some time before the release of a trailer or any idea of a release date.
