THE first photos of a man and child killed after a mom allegedly ploughed her truck onto a soccer field have been released – as cops discharge her from custody.

Cole Adrian, 6, and Nicholas Schafer, 35, lost their life in which wounded at least ten others, including children.

The tragedy unfolded after an unnamed mom, 34, allegedly struck multiple people with her pick-up truck on a soccer field in Kansas.

Witnesses said the driver screamed “Oh my God, Oh my God, what have I done?” as she was pulled from her vehicle.

One of her children had been riding in the back of the Chevrolet at the time of the terrifying incident, according to the NY Post.

Her other kid had been playing in a soccer game on a different field in the Stryker Sports Complex.

Emergency services raced to the scene after stricken bystanders raised the alarm at around 3.25pm.

While the medics were arriving, parents and bystanders attempted to deliver “life-saving assistance” to the injured, said Wichita Police Department Chief Joe Sullivan.

He said: “It was truly amazing, but I think it’s indicative of the Wichita community.”

A girl and a boy, both 5, and another girl, 9, are among those who were injured in the tragedy.

The rest of the wounded are between 28 and 68 years old.

Police initially detained the driver, from Garden City, but released her without charges on Sunday pending a toxicology test and examination of the vehicle.

Law enforcement said: “No charges have been filed at this time, and investigators continue working to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.”

It is not yet clear whether the fatal crash was deliberate or an accident nor how fast the car was going at the time it allegedly struck players and fans.

Witness Vanessa Trammell told CNN : “We thought it was going to stop but then it like kept going.

“It was pure panic. “I didn’t know what was going on – just that people were being hit.”

Another bystander told TV station 12 news that “black pickup truck came plowing through the youth soccer fields hitting multiple people before stopping 100-200 yards down the fields”.

The Stryker Sports Complex has canceled all events until further notice in the wake of the tragedy.

“We ask that you keep all individuals and families affected in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” the facility said in a statement.

Meanwhile, investigators have interviewed over 30 witnesses and are appealing for any video from the incident.

Wichita Mayor Lily Wu said she was “heartbroken” by the incident.

She said: “No one could have imagined the tragedy that would unfold.

“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, especially the children and families involved”.
