There was a tremendous ovation at the Supreme Court on Thursday when Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), arrived at the court.

Kanu attended the apex court to personally deliver a letter to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, requesting the discontinuation of his ongoing terrorism trial, referencing a repealed law.

In a viral video, court personnel were seen cheering for the IPOB leader as soon as he entered the premises.

According to DAILY POST, Kanu’s presence at the Supreme Court is part of his final efforts to halt his case, which is scheduled for judgment on November 20th.
