NSCDC deploys 3,100 personnel to strengthen security during Eid in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command has deployed 3,100 personnel throughout the state to maintain the peace and safety during Eid-el Kabir celebrations.
This announcement was made in a press release from the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi. The statement revealed that the personnel have been deployed to locations including Eid prayer grounds, markets, recreational centres, events and other public spaces. The officers include personnel from different departments, area commands and divisional offices.

The Command also warned mischief-makers and criminals to stay away from illegal activities during and after the celebrations. It stated that any act of disrupting public peace will be dealt with according to the law.

“We encourage members of the public to support security operatives to ensure a smooth, incident-free Sallah celebration in 2025,”; the statement added.
