Niger Tornadoes forward Terdoo Shimagande says he is confident of ending his goal drought in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Shimagande has failed to score in his last four games for the Ikon Allah Boys.

The former Heartland striker has netted once for Majin Mohammed’s side this season.

“When you bother yourself about the drought, it will worry you and you will become anxious. All I just need to do is get one goal and the flood will open,” Shimagande told Niger Tornadoes media.

Niger Tornadoes will face Rivers United in a rescheduled matchday six fixture in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

Niger Tornadoes have garnered nine points from five matches, while Rivers United have recorded eight points from four matches.
