Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut has expressed disappointment with the outcome of his side’s matchday 31 encounter against Kwara United.

The Solid Miners fell 1-0 to their hosts at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Saturday.

Abdulsalam Abdulsalam scored the decisive goal for Kwara United from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time.

Nasarawa United remain in third position on the league table but could loose their position by the end of tomorrow.

Mangut said they were determined to get at least a draw from the game

“We are all pained by this result today” Mangut told the club’s media after the game.

“We had given this game our all from the blast of the whistle, only to be letdown in the dying minutes. A draw was the worst we had envisaged, but, sometimes, you get hit by the cruel side of the round leather game.”

The Lafia club will host Kun Khalifat FC in their next game.
