Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut has revealed that nobody gave his team a chance to maintain their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) status.

The Peace Boys endured a torrid campaign but managed to beat the drop

Plateau United defeated Enyimba 1-0 in their final match of the season in Aba to finish the top half of the league table.

Mangut said that the experience of the 2024-25 NPFL campaign has helped his development as an individual.

“Every game comes with different challenges we started from week 1 to week 38, I would say I learnt a lot getting patience and believing in what you are doing,”;; Mangut told Plateau United’s media.

“Even though they criticize you when doing the right thing, but sometimes close your ears and continue doing the right thing.

“We didn’t get a trophy but I believed that we proved a point because nobody gave us a chance to remain in the NPFL.”;;

Plateau United recorded 16 wins, nine draws and 13 defeats in 38 matches in the season.
