Kano Pillars midfielder Aminu Muhammad has returned to training ahead of their matchday three fixture against Katsina United.

Muhammad had been sidelined with illness since the start of the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

The enterprising midfielder rejoined the team’s training sessions on Tuesday, providing a boost to the squad’s preparations.

Muhammad’s return is welcome news for Sai Masu Gida head coach Evans Ogenyi, who will be targeting his first win of the campaign.

Kano Pillars have secured one point from their two matches so far.

They will face rivals Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina this weekend.
