Ahmed Musa has been appointed new General Manager of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Kano Pillars.
The Super Eagles forward’s appointment was confirmed by Kano State Governor’s spokesperson,Sunusi Bature Dawakin onFriday
In a related development, Ali Muhammad Umar has been named new chairman of the club.
The state government said the appointment of a new board ispart of ongoing efforts to further strengthen the team and enhance its performance ahead of the new season.
The Sai Masu Gida are yet to appoint a substantive head coach following the resignation of Usman Abdallah.
Pillars finished in eighth position in the NPFL last season.
