Warri Wolves head coach, Johnny Austin, has urged his players to build on their recent away victory against Barau FC as they prepare for their matchday eight clash with Niger Tornadoes.

Last week, Warri Wolves achieved a 1-0 victory over Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.

The Seasiders will face off against Niger Tornadoes at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro today (Sunday).

Austin encouraged the players to demonstrate determination and intensity during the match.

“What we accomplished in Kano was impressive, but football does not reward past successes,” Austin remarked.

“We must enter the pitch on Sunday with the mindset that every match is a new challenge. Niger Tornadoes are a formidable team, and if we want to make an impact this season, we need to replicate and even exceed our performance in Kano.”
