NOTTINGHAM FOREST are looking to land Man City’s James McAtee as a replacement for Tottenham-bound Morgan Gibbs-White.

But Forest are not resting on their laurels.

And the Telegraph claims they are immediately set to move for McAtee as a replacement.

The midfielder has just captained England’s U21s to Euros glory.

But after finding minutes limited at the Etihad,

The ace has just one year left on his contract.

And Forest hope to sign him for around £25m, despite City holding out for the £42.5m they quoted Chelsea last summer.

However, interest in McAtee is high.

West Ham are also keen after selling Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham for £55m.

While abroad, German duo Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt could tussle with Italians Roma and Fiorentina for McAtee’s signature.

Forest are also preparing moves for other players after having their two key men ripped away from the City Ground.

It’s believed they have launched a bid for Brentford forward Yoane Wissa after trying and failing to sign him last summer.

Forest could also move for PSV winger Johan Bakayoko and hope their spot in the Conference League can play a part in convincing him to leave the Dutch champs.
